FAMILY CONCERT – What is Jazz?

An hour long concert for people 5 years and older.
Performed by faculty and students of the NCCU Jazz department, led by Robert Trowers
An “informance” that shows how Jazz is constructed by breaking it down into its component parts and rebuilding it, piece by piece. Different styles of Jazz will be played to give you a feel for the variety contained within the Jazz idiom.
