FAMILY CONCERT: Space Pants

June 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm

Free

Join SpacePants (Jennifer Beattie – voice, Diana Wade – viola) for a sound and wonder-filled adventure to the moon. We’ll follow instructions from the NASA 1969 Saturn V Flight Manual, and with our musical imaginations and with your help we Burn for the Moon!

We’ll also perform “Fry on Fry”, where we read and sing music written in…french fries.

Program
“Fry on Fry” by Diana Wade, with French fry notation created by SpacePants-for two voices

“Permission to Land”* by SpacePants, with text and inspiration from the NASA 1969 Saturn V Flight Manual
*please put on your space helmets/tinfoil hats, and participate in the countdown to liftoff and BURN FOR THE MOON (we’ll shout it) with your small tube or other noise-making instrument!

About the Artists:
