SERIES CONCERT 1: FLUTE FEMS

FLUTE FEMS Music for multiple flutes by or about women
including a community play-along for intermediate-advance students and amateur flutists!
Sunday, September 14, 2025 3:00 pm, Nelson Music Room, Durham
Trudy Kane, former principal flutist with the Metropolitan Opera, professor at Frost University and recipient of the 2024 National Flute Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award will conduct three of her arrangements of opera music for multiple flutes.
Flute4 will perform as the ensemble as well as coordinate the Carmen community play-along!

Members of the Duke University Flute Ensemble and the Raleigh Area Flute Association will assist.
