Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a flair at a concert featuring chamber music for strings by Mexican Modernist composers. The music encompasses a breathe of color and exquisite craft while reflecting the composers Latin roots. You will hear String Quartets by Carlos Chavez and Silvestre Revueltas plus Salvador Contreras’ Sonata for violin and cello and Manuel Ponce’s Duo for violin and viola.
