SUNDAY AFTERNOON CONCERT SERIES (5 concerts):
All concerts are Sunday afternoons at 3pm
September 26, 2010 - Robert Schumann and William Schuman; celebrating the 200th and 100th anniversaries respectively with chamber music by these esteemed composers.
October 31, 2010 - Nosferatu-the original Vampire movie complete with a live music soundtrack! Screened at the historic Carolina Theatre.
February 6, 2011 - Historical Bach II, with Rodney Wynkoop and the Choral Society of Durham, back by popular demand.
April 10, 2011 - Mozart and more, beloved chamber music by the masters; music for strings and horn by Mozart and Brahms
May 1, 2011 - Pernambuco! Chamber music from the Amazon - music by Latin American composers for harp, flute and strings including a world premiere of a new work by Peruvian-American composer, Gabriela Lena Frank. In partnership with the Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
